Rainforest Facts


  • Tropical rainforest's can be found near the equator
  • The normal temperature in the rainforest is 80 degrees 
  • The rainforest is called the " rainforest" because it rains a lot
  • There is no cold weather in the rainforest so the animals do not need to worry about that
  • There are over 3,000 species of fruit in one jungle
  • Rubber comes from rubber trees
  • Some plants get there nutrients from other plants
  • Rafflesia is a type of flower that smells so bad that flies go on it
  • The bigger leaves in the rainforest are more lucky because they get more sunshine then the smaller leaves  since they are super big
  • Plants and animals adapt to their habitat to survive
  • The trees are about fifteen stories high in the rainforest
  • The walking tree can actually move
  • The forest floor is very dark like a basement
  • The sluf  holes the record for the slowest land animal
  • Most of the animals live in the trees because there predators could get them easier on the ground
