My class went to see Kayla, a girl in Singapore American School's dad. He hiked Mount Everest and was in this tragic event he taught us about in an assembly. Kayla's dad's name is Brooks Entwistle. Today I learned that you have to prepare a lot to succeed with your dream, and even then it might not work. What I found fascinating is that Kayla's dad was there, in the tragic event on Mount Everest when people died, the event that is on news everywhere. I wonder if he is ever going to try to climb that mountain again after that event?
Some questions I have are:
- Where you scared when that scary event happened?
- Where exactly were you when it happened?
- Do you regret going on that trip?
- Do you wish you climbed to the top of Mount Everest?
- Did you ever think about your family during this trip?
