Speed v.s Accuracy (Reflection)

In my opinion, I think both speed and accuracy is very important. This is because speed is good, you always need to be fast however, there is a problem. If you are going to fast, you will make mistakes and get penalties. Which adds more time to your result and you want to have the least time as possible. Also, if you make a mistake it takes longer to think of the whole problem again and a new answer. You should still be accurate as well. Accuracy will help you because you will get the answer right and keep on going. However, like speed, there is still a problem. When some people are trying to be accurate, they are slow. That will get you a bad time. So, if you use both speed and accuracy you will be pretty successful.

Our group, Laney, Ava, Michelle and I had a strategy of a slight combination of accuracy. Actually, it was not very accurate. We would usually guess if we really could not find an answer or knew for sure it would take forever and waste our time. So, we made a few guesses and sometimes got it right. When we got it wrong we just continued with a four minute penalty. We did this because it would get a us a better time to get a penalty. This is because e would take forever to find the answer, and I mean more than four minutes which would be the penalty. So, it would take more time to find the answer then how long our penalty would be. We still tried our best to find most of the answers and still be accurate though.
