Cookie Excavation

In social studies, we were trying to excavate an artifact. Our artifact is a cookie. We were trying to dig out all of the chocolate chips without breaking them. We would earn more money with more full artifacts. I was very unlucky because my cookie had barely any chocolate chips. Most of our class  thought that it would turn out to be a pretty easy mission as an archaeologist. However, we were wrong. There were problems like easily breaking the chocolate chip in the process. I learned that archaeologists have to be very careful when they are digging and also have to be very patient. If they are not they could easily break something. Also, I think that archaeologists have to double check with their artifacts to make sure they are complete. This is because sometimes I had a chocolate chip that I thought was full but double checked the cookie and the other piece of it was still in the cookie.  If I were to do this again I would have been a lot more careful because I didn't even have one full chocolate chip.
