Factors And Mutiples

1) You can decide that it is helpful when the question asks to find the same time or amount of         anything that come or are on the same number and when. This is because in common multiples           or common factors numbers usually or always end up meeting at the same number at different             times. The real question is when will they meet up?

2) A. You can list the factors of both numbers and the factors that are the same on both numbers   are factors of both of those numbers. Of all of the same factors of both numbers there is one                 number that is the largest, that is the greatest common factor.
        B. It tells you that since that is the greatest and largest factors, the rest of the factors will           definitely all be the less than the greatest common factor because it is the biggest.

3) A. You could make a list and keep on adding that number on to itself and the numbers on the   list that are listed on both or all the number's lists are common multiples and the least                         common multiple is the common multiple that is the smallest.
         B. It tells you that the rest of the common multiples will be more than the least common           multiple since it is the smallest.
